Based on the 8nm “GA104” silicon (same as RTX 3070), the RTX 3060 Ti comes with 8GB of 14 Gbps GDDR6 memory, which operates at a frequency of 7,000 MHz on a 256-bit wide memory interface with a total bandwidth of 448 GB/s. It also has a base clock of 1410Mhz, and a boost clock of 1665Mhz. Further, the card comes with a dual-slot design with two fans, one for intake and one to blow out hot air as well as NVIDIA’s new 12-pin power connector. The RTX 3060 Ti can draw up to 200W of power, and a 600W power supply is recommended for this card. It comes with 4864 CUDA cores, 152 Tensor cores, 38 RT cores, 152 TMUs, and 80 ROPs. The RTX 3060 Ti will also support real-time ray tracing, DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), NVIDIA Reflex, NVIDIA Broadcast, GeForce Experience, and GeForce Now. NVIDIA is offering a reference “Founder’s Edition” card of the RTX 3060 Ti at an affordable cost of $399, which will be available for sale worldwide from December 2nd. Also, RTX 3060 Ti customers in select countries will receive a free one-year GeForce NOW cloud gaming subscription for a limited time.
